The FIRM Open Track Sunday, October 11th

Welcome to The FIRM Open Track Day — where seat time is the priority and drivers come to improve.

Designed for all experience levels, Open Track welcomes everyone from first-timers building confidence to experienced drivers refining technique, testing setups, chasing consistency, or dialing in lap times. Whether you’re learning the fundamentals, shaking down a new build, or simply looking for quality time behind the wheel, The FIRM offers a safe, structured, and low-traffic environment to focus on becoming a better driver.

Run groups are limited to just 9 cars per session, delivering more laps, more reps, less traffic, and more room to drive at your pace. Plus, drivers help shape the experience — each event includes a morning vote to choose from one of four different Short Course layouts.

Open Track Days are typically held on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Whether you’re refining your skills, testing changes, preparing for competition, or just looking to unplug from the stress of the week and spend quality time behind the wheel— open track is the perfect escape.

Non-Member Pricing:
$250 — Early Registration (minimum 5 days in advance)
$300 — Standard Registration (starts 5 days out from the event) 
$350 — On-Site/At the Gate Day-of Registration (available space permitting; register online in advance to receive the best available rate)
***IMPORTANT FOR DAY-OF REGISTRATION: If you plan to register on-site, you MUST arrive before 8:00 AM. If no drivers are on-site by the start of Tech Inspection at 8:00 AM, Open Track operations will close for the day.

Additional Fees:
$100 — Private 20-minute instruction session (*Required if this is your first Track Day/HPDE event ever)
$100 — Additional Driver Fee  (shared vehicle, maximum 1 additional driver per entry for non-members)
$35 — FIRM Transponder Rental
$25 — Link Your Personal Transponder
$25 — Passenger Fee (Must be 16 years of age+)
$25 — Helmet Rental (first come, first served)

MORNING OPEN TRACK SESSIONS NOW AVAILABLE ON SELECT DATES 
Not everyone needs a full day at the track. On select Fridays and Sundays, we will offer a reduced-price Morning Open Track Session in addition to our traditional full-day option.

• Morning sessions operate from 9:00 AM–12:00 PM.
• Morning sessions are not currently offered on Saturdays.
• Morning-only drivers will receive a designated wristband at check-in.
• Drivers wishing to continue participating after the morning session must upgrade to a Full-Day registration through FIRM staff before returning to the track.
• Wristbands will be verified following the lunch break, and only drivers registered for the Full-Day session will be permitted to continue participating.

Morning Session Pricing:

• $150 — Early Registration (register more than 5 days prior to the event)
• $200 — Standard Registration (begins 5 days prior to the event)
• $225 — On-Site / Same-Day Registration *Same-day Morning Session participants must arrive before 8:00 AM. If no drivers are on-site by the start of Tech Inspection, Open Track operations will close for the day.

OPEN TRACK DAY SCHEDULE
7:30 AM — Gates Open
8:00 AM — Vehicle Technical Inspection
8:45 AM — Mandatory Non-Member Drivers Meeting (includes course layout vote)
9:00 AM – 12:00 PM — Track Open (*When Half-Day Morning Sessions are offered - Your Track Day Concludes at 12:00pm)
12:00 PM – 1:00 PM — Lunch Break / Track Closed
1:00 PM – 4:00 PM — Track Open
5:00 PM — Gates Closed

EVENT POLICIES

• Open Track Days run RAIN OR SHINE, unless The FIRM determines conditions are unsafe for track operations.
• If your plans change, please notify us at least 24 hours prior to the event to receive an Open Track credit valid for 90 days.
• Driver-requested cancellations and no-shows are not eligible for cash refunds.
• Event dates may occasionally be affected by Private Track Rentals, facility operations, weather, safety concerns, or other operational circumstances. Registered drivers will be notified of significant changes or cancellations as soon as possible.

Insurance & Liability Notice: Participants are responsible for confirming track/event coverage with their personal insurance provider.

NEW FOR FALL 2026 
We heard the feedback from our Open Track community. One of the biggest concerns has been registering for an event and wondering whether enough other drivers will sign up for the day to happen.

For the time being, we're taking that uncertainty away.

If an Open Track Day is posted on our schedule, we plan to run it regardless of the number of pre-registered drivers.

• There is no minimum number of pre-registered drivers required for a posted Open Track Day.
• An empty or small registration list does not mean the event is canceled.
• If you're planning to drive, we still strongly encourage registering online in advance. It helps our team prepare for the day and saves you money.
• If no drivers are on-site by the start of Tech Inspection at 8:00 AM, Open Track operations will close for the day.
• Drivers arriving without advance registration may still register on-site, space permitting, at the $350 Day-of rate.

FIRST TRACK DAY?
Welcome! You don't need to be an experienced track driver to participate in Open Track. Drivers participating in their first Track Day/HPDE event are required to complete a 20-minute private instruction session ($100) before heading out independently. Our instructors will introduce you to the track, basic procedures, passing rules, flags and the fundamentals you'll need to start your day with confidence.

ADDITIONAL DRIVERS & PASSENGERS

• Sharing your vehicle with another driver? One additional driver may be added for $100.
  • Maximum of 2 registered drivers per vehicle.
  • Each participating driver must be properly registered.
• Passenger Registration — $25
  • Passengers must be 16 years of age or older.
  • Required waiver must be completed.
  • Approved helmet required.
  • Proper seat belt or safety harness required.

ON-TRACK ETIQUETTE

• We want Open Track to be enjoyable for everyone, regardless of experience level or vehicle.
• Passing is permitted only in designated passing zones with a clear point-by.
• Keep an eye on your mirrors and allow faster traffic to safely pass.
• Follow all flags and instructions from FIRM staff.
• Drive predictably and communicate clearly with other drivers.
• Our team is here to keep the day moving safely and help everyone get as much quality track time as possible.

WEATHER
Open Track runs rain or shine unless The FIRM determines that conditions are unsafe for track operations. If weather or another safety concern requires us to make changes to the event, we'll communicate with registered drivers as quickly as possible.

PLANS CHANGED?

• We understand that sometimes things come up. If you're unable to attend, please contact us at least 24 hours before the event. Your registration can be transferred into an Open Track credit valid for 90 days.
• Driver-requested cancellations and no-shows are not eligible for cash refunds.
• If The FIRM must cancel or substantially change an event due to weather, safety, facility operations, or other circumstances, registered participants will be contacted directly regarding available options.

A FEW FINAL REMINDERS

• Motorsports and performance driving involve inherent risks. Drivers are responsible for their vehicles, equipment, and personal belongings while participating.
• We recommend checking with your insurance provider regarding coverage for track-driving activities, as The FIRM does not provide insurance coverage for damage to participant vehicles or personal property.
• All participants must follow The FIRM's Track Policies, Tech Inspection requirements, event waivers, flags and instructions from FIRM staff.
